Hilltop Ranch RV & Trailer Repair is a six-bay full-service shop based in Milford, Texas. It does not offer mobile repairs, so you bring the RV to the shop at 1316 FM 2959, about one mile off I-35 at Carl's Corner, exit 374. If the rig can still be driven, that is the trip. If it cannot, plan on a tow.

The shop works on motorhomes (Class A, B and C), fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, pop-up campers, truck campers, cargo trailers and boat trailers. Its systems list includes air conditioners, refrigerators, furnaces, water heaters, generators, slide-outs, roof reseals, awnings, brakes and wheel bearing packs, plus custom mini split installations.

It publishes no trip fee, hourly rate, diagnostic fee or service area, so ask about all of them when you call. Its one listed price is a fall special of 10% off wheel bearing packs. It says estimates are provided "before work begins whenever possible." Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and it is closed on weekends. Appointments are recommended, and "emergency and walk-in repairs may be accommodated based on availability."

The shop is NRVTA certified and family owned by The Rogers Family. Certification is worth asking about before you hand over a rig. It states, "Yes, we stand behind our workmanship and offer warranties on many repairs," but no warranty terms are published, so ask in writing what is covered.
