RV Repair On Demand

RV Repair On Demand is a mobile RV repair and maintenance business based in McAllen, Texas. It comes to you, stating "We come to you, wherever you are in the country," and currently serves the Rio Grande Valley, naming McAllen, Alamo, Mission, La Joya, Weslaco, Harlingen, Donna, San Benito, Mercedes, La Feria, Port Isabel and Pharr.

It works on electrical systems, batteries and generators, HVAC including AC and heating, roofs, slide-outs and slide-out seals, brakes and bearings, propane systems, water systems and plumbing, holding tanks and dump valves, shore power cords, outlets, and smoke, carbon monoxide and LP gas alarms. It also handles preventive maintenance and inspections for pre-purchase, insurance or general upkeep, which matters if you are buying a used rig and want someone to check it over before you sign.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about the trip fee and what a visit costs when you call. Hours are listed as 8am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.

The business is run by Daniel J. "DJ" Villareal and his wife, Sonia, and DJ is certified through the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA), the training body behind the NRVTA certification many mobile RV techs carry. The family has been doing repair work in McAllen since DJ's father, Big Dan, started the original shop over 55 years ago, and DJ and Sonia have been living the RV lifestyle themselves for 15 years before building this business around it.

This is a good fit for a traveler or owner in the Rio Grande Valley who wants a tech to come to the campsite, storage lot or driveway for anything from a slide-out seal to a full pre-purchase inspection, and who is comfortable asking about cost upfront since none is posted.
