Coach Specialists of Texas

Coach Specialists of Texas is an RV repair shop based in Mansfield, Texas, with service centers in Plano and Fort Worth. You bring the RV to one of those shops to have work done. Its pages also offer pick-up and delivery: "If you can't come to us, we'll come to you." It describes itself as "a full-service RV and Specialty Vehicle repair shop" in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area.

It works on motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers. Its systems list covers plumbing, LP gas, 110v and 12v electrical, hydraulic operating systems, awning, satellite, solar, air conditioning, heating, Aqua-Hot, lighting, water pump, refrigerator, suspension, water heater, holding tanks and propane. It also does RV collision repair, roof replacement and diagnostics, along with Airstream and Sprinter van repair and horse trailers. A roof leak and collision damage from the same incident can both go to this one shop.

It does not publish a trip fee or an hourly rate, and no hours are posted. Ask about the trip fee and what pick-up and delivery costs, and ask whether your town is inside its Dallas-Fort Worth area, since no service radius is stated.

It says it has "over 20 years of experience." It calls itself a "Preferred partner with nearly all insurance carriers" and an "exclusive direct repair and complex repair facility for leading insurers," naming State Farm, GEICO, Nationwide, Progressive and USAA among them. If your claim runs through your carrier, a shop already set up with that carrier can do much of the claim paperwork for you. It names no certification program, though its plumbing page refers to "certified technicians," so ask which certifications its techs hold before you book. Its homepage advertises "Satisfaction Guaranteed" and says it will "get it right. The first time."

This is a good fit for an owner near Mansfield, Plano or Fort Worth who needs collision, roof or air conditioning work and can get the RV to one of its shops.
