C-J Mobile and More

C-J Mobile and More is an RV and houseboat repair business based in Lacy Lakeview, Texas. It works both ways: it comes to you if you live in your trailer or are parked nearby on vacation, and it also has a shop where you can bring your rig for bigger jobs.

On the mobile side, a Certified Technician troubleshoots air conditioning and heat problems, appliance failures, leaks, slide-out issues and leveling system trouble right where you are parked. At the shop, C-J Mobile and More takes on larger work that is harder to do in a campground or driveway: roof decking and reseal, sub-floor replacement, slide out system repairs, membrane replacement, plumbing and sanitation, awning repair and replacement, minor welding repairs, hydraulics, and appliance and system upgrades. It also handles routine and preventive maintenance, which matters because resealing roof seams and weather flashing before they fail can keep a small job from turning into a sub-floor replacement.

There is no published trip fee or hourly rate, so ask about both when you call, along with whether it will come to your campsite or driveway or whether you should bring the rig in. No hours are listed either, so confirm those at the same time.

Google rates it 5 stars from 2 reviews. One traveler described bringing in an older 5th wheel with slide-out, air conditioner and plumbing problems and said the shop explained the repair options and cost ahead of time before she got back on the road.

This is a good fit for an RV owner who wants one shop that can both come fix a slide-out or AC problem on site and take on a bigger roof or sub-floor job back at the shop.
