Armor Spray Coatings

Armor Spray Coatings is an RV repair and maintenance business based in Inez, Texas, and it presents itself as a Victoria business. It comes to you, and you can also bring the RV to its shop. Patrick and Kelly Utecht own and run it. They describe it as "veteran-owned and family-operated," and it "brings over 30 years of experience to RV repair and maintenance in Victoria, Texas."

Sprayed roof coatings and roof repair are its main trade. It also works on electrical systems, plumbing, refrigerators, air conditioners, furnaces, stoves and ovens, generators, slide-outs, brakes and suspension, awnings and preventative maintenance. Towns named as service areas include Victoria, Ganado, Port Lavaca, Cuero, Edna and Rosenberg. No service radius is stated, so ask whether it will come to your site.

No trip fee, hourly rate, diagnostic fee or per-job price is published, so ask about the trip fee and the hourly rate when you call 361-676-3371. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sunday is closed. No after-hours or emergency service is listed.

The roof coatings come with "a lifetime warranty," and a warranty is only as good as the shop that stands behind it, so ask exactly what it covers and get the terms in writing. It names Certified Spray Technicians as its certification, but it states no license or insurance, so ask about both. Google rates it 5 stars from 25 reviews. One testimonial says "Patrick also fixed my generator" after two other RV shops charged for work that did not fix the problem.

This is a good fit for an RV owner around Victoria and Inez who wants roof work done on site, or a traveler with a generator, refrigerator or slide-out problem who will ask about the trip fee first.
