Shipwright RV Services

Shipwright RV Services is a mobile RV tech based in Hillsboro, Texas. It comes to you, working on site wherever the rig sits, and covers RV communities from Cleburne to Waco, including Hillsboro, Mansfield and Grandview.

It works on black and grey tank cleaning and repair, including holding tank plumbing and tank replacement, and does roof repair and coating, with water damage repair and roof inspection offered on site. It handles air conditioner and furnace repair, water heater repair and replacement for both traditional and on-demand units, wheel bearing service including cleaning, repacking and grease seal replacement, plumbing fixture repair, RV refrigerator repair and replacement (including residential refrigerator installs), 120v and 12v DC electrical diagnosis and repair, and floor repair including vinyl flooring and slide-out floor replacements. For a rig with a soft slide-out floor or a dead refrigerator, having someone come to the campground or storage lot instead of arranging a tow matters a lot.

No hourly rate or trip fee is published, so ask about both when you call.

All work comes with what the company calls a "90 day workmanship gaurantee (1 year labor warranty on roof repairs)," which is worth asking about directly since roof work holds up to weather longer than most repairs. The team is described as certified and insured. A tech named James shows up in several reviews from RV parks in the service area.

Google rates it 5 stars from 12 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Cleburne to Waco corridor who wants roof, tank, AC or refrigerator work done without hauling the rig anywhere, or a traveler parked at a local RV park who needs a tech to come to the site directly.
