Lone Star RV Service Center

Lone Star RV Service Center is an RV repair shop based in Harker Heights, Texas, just off Highway 190 west of I-35. You bring the RV to its shop rather than the other way around.

It works on refrigerators, furnaces, AC, awnings and hot water tanks, and handles oil changes, fuel filters and systems, brakes, wheel alignment and tires. It services Class A, B, B+ and C motorhomes as well as fifth wheels, and says it will work on units from the 70's through brand new. It is also a full level Onan factory warranty and repair center, so a generator problem does not need a separate shop. It covers Killeen, Ft. Cavazos, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, Lampasas, Belton, Temple and the rest of Central Texas.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. It is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

It does warranty work for all the major RV manufacturers and for most extended service companies, which matters if your rig is still under warranty and you want the repair covered instead of paid out of pocket. Its technicians get ongoing training from RVIA and from the major manufacturers. The business is family owned and has been operating since 1996, and it now runs with approximately 25 RV technicians, which is a lot of hands for a shop this size and can mean a shorter wait for an appointment.
