Nations RV & Marine

Nations RV & Marine is a repair shop based in Lyles, Tennessee, and it also sends a mobile service team out to you. If you can get the rig there, bring it to the Highway 7 location; if not, the mobile team covers campgrounds, marinas, storage facilities and your own driveway across Middle Tennessee, including Nashville, Murfreesboro, Franklin, Gallatin, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet and Smyrna.

The shop works on Class A, B, C and Super C motorhomes, pop ups, travel trailers and fifth wheels, along with boats and houseboats. Jobs covered include collision and body repair, roof and floor work, AC, refrigerator, furnace and water heater repair, slide-out and awning upgrades, plumbing, electrical, generator service, solar and inverter installs, brakes, winterization and pre-trip inspections. The mobile side sticks to work that does not need heavy shop equipment, things like leak checks, seal repairs, roof inspections, awning fixes, electrical troubleshooting and seasonal winterization, which covers most of what strands a traveler at a campsite.

No hourly rate, trip fee or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call, along with whether the mobile team can reach your specific site. The shop says "Same-day service available for emergencies," useful if something fails mid-trip, and it works with insurance companies on collision repairs, worth asking about if a storm or a low branch did the damage. It describes itself as family-owned and is an authorized warranty service center for several manufacturers.

This is a good fit for a traveler stuck somewhere in Middle Tennessee with a leak or electrical problem, and for an owner near Nashville or Columbia who wants collision, roof or seasonal work done at a shop instead of waiting on a dealer.
