Chrome Zone Trailer Washouts

Chrome Zone Trailer Washouts is a trailer and truck washing business based in Jackson, TN, at 2164 Highway 70 East, off I-40 Exit 87. You bring the RV to its shop. It does not come to you. Its main trade is washing trailers for truckers, and RVs come up only in its truck washing description, where it offers "truck washing services for all types of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and RVs."

The services it lists are LED light installations, trailer deodorizing, interior and exterior detailing, mirror polishing and custom chrome trim. Its interior detailing is described for trucks: dashboard cleaning, vacuuming, stain removal and bunk area sanitization. Nothing on its list covers an RV's air conditioner, refrigerator, slide-outs, roof or generator, so a mechanical problem belongs with a different shop. It names only Jackson as its city, for "all your Jackson, TN area vehicle needs."

It publishes no trip fee, hourly rate or RV pricing, so ask about cost when you call. Truck washes are by appointment only. Its hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday, 8:00am to 1:00pm. After-hours work is available "for an additional fee," but no amount is listed. It also offers overnight parking. It says "We stand behind all detailing and installation jobs with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee," so ask what that covers before you book. Neither licensing nor insurance is stated, and it has served truckers since 2004.

Google rates it 4.1 stars from 120 reviews, in the car wash category.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in the Jackson area who wants an exterior wash, chrome trim or LED lights on a rig and can drop it off during business hours. It is not a fit for an RV with a mechanical or systems problem.
