Mountain Man Mobile RV Services

Mountain Man Mobile RV Services is a mobile RV tech based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It comes to you, at the campsite or the driveway, and serves RV owners within 125 miles of Chattanooga.

It works on fifth wheels, travel trailers and motorhomes of all ages, covering air conditioning, roofs, furnaces, windows, ignition switches, and general mechanical and electrical issues. One reviewer called on Thanksgiving morning with a dead furnace in a fifth wheel ahead of a cold snap, and the tech, Dale, arrived at the campsite within the hour and got it running. Another traveler had an AC fail mid heatwave on a Saturday evening and had a replacement unit installed by the next afternoon. That kind of response matters when a broken system means a canceled trip, not just an inconvenience.

No trip fee, hourly rate or job prices are published on the site, so ask about the trip fee when you call. Hours run Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm. The business describes decades of hands-on experience, and the owner, Dale, along with Rebecca, is named directly in reviews covering repairs, remodels and slide-out troubleshooting. One traveler whose slide-out would not retract at Cloudland Canyon wrote that Dale quickly traced it to a bad switch control rather than the more expensive batteries or solenoids, which kept the repair bill down.

This is a good fit for a traveler stranded at a Tennessee or north Georgia campground with a broken AC, furnace or slide-out, or an owner near Chattanooga who wants roof or electrical work done without hauling the rig to a shop.
