Valentine Detailing LLC

Valentine Detailing LLC is a detailing business based in Walterboro, SC. Its RV work is "full-service RV detailing for motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and camper vans." It comes to you: "We come to you anywhere in Colleton County." You can also bring the rig to its shop at 1056 Hiers Corner Road, Walterboro SC 29488.

The RV work is cleaning and protection, not mechanical repair. It covers full roof cleaning, black streak removal, slide-out cleaning and treatment, awning cleaning for fabric or vinyl, and odor elimination, with ceramic coating as an upgrade. It names CarPro, Gtechniq, Rupes and Koch-Chemie among its products. Its service area is Colleton County, Charleston County, Summerville, Bamberg County, Hampton County, Beaufort County, Allendale County and Jasper County. It lists no AC, refrigerator, generator or slide-out motor work, so a traveler with a broken AC or a stuck slide-out needs a different shop.

RV prices are "Starting at $25/ft" for Express Detail, "Starting at $125/ft" for Signature Detail and "Starting at $200/ft" for Elite Detail. Class A motorhomes, fifth wheels and larger rigs are priced per foot, and "Pricing varies based on RV type, size, and condition." It publishes no trip fee, mileage charge, hourly rate or emergency service, so ask about the trip fee when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, and closed Sunday. "We typically respond within 1 business day," so this is not a same-day service.

Stephen Valentine owns the business and holds IDA Certified Detailer with Skills Validated, a detailing credential. The team keeps its training current through Dr. Beasley's clinics. No license or insurance is stated, so ask for proof if you need it. Ask which products it uses on your roof, too. Fiberglass and aluminum oxidize differently than car paint, and rubber roofs need their own cleaners, so the wrong product can cause damage. The award it lists, "Best of the Best in Auto Detailing," is an auto award and says little about RV work. Google lists it under car detailing and rates it 5 stars from 40 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in Colleton County or the other counties it names who wants a roof, sidewall, awning or slide-out cleaned and protected, and who will ask for a quote before booking. It is not the place for a traveler with a broken AC or a stuck slide-out.
