Permanent Roof Guard

Permanent Roof Guard is a mobile RV roof specialist based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It comes to you, working at a home, campground or storage facility, as long as there is room to get on the roof safely, and it says it services most of the Southeast region.

It works on travel trailers, fifth wheels, campers and motorhomes, fixing soft spots and water damage, seams, vents, skylights and leaks around A/C units. Jobs range from spot repairs and full roof coating to full membrane replacement when the roof is too far gone. The coating process uses a primer base coat, fiber reinforced material at every seam, vent and skylight, then two coats over the whole roof, so the roof ends up as one continuous surface instead of a patchwork of caulk that cracks again.

No hourly rate or trip fee is published, so ask about pricing and what a visit costs when you call. The business does publish job details: it says a full-roof coating is usually done in a single day, and it offers to help document storm or hail damage for an insurance claim, along with financing through a third-party lender for owners who want to spread out the cost.

Google rates it 4.9 stars from 16 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner who wants the whole roof coated instead of re-caulking trouble spots every season, or who has a soft spot, storm damage or an aging rubber roof and would rather have a crew come to the campground or driveway than haul the rig to a dealer and wait weeks for a bay to open up.
