CAVU RV

CAVU RV is a mobile RV service based in Upstate South Carolina. It comes to you, at home, at the campsite, or roadside, rather than you bringing the rig to a shop. It serves Greenville, Greer, Simpsonville, Anderson, Spartanburg, and surrounding areas.

It works on electrical and battery systems, plumbing and water systems, HVAC and rooftop air conditioning, roof and seal inspections, and slide-outs and awnings, on Class A, B, and C motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels. It also handles full-system diagnostics when the problem is not obvious, winterizing and de-winterizing, RV walkthroughs for new owners, and emergency road calls for a blown fuse, flat tire, or failed power.

CAVU RV does not publish an hourly rate, trip fee, or diagnostic fee, so ask about those when you call. It lists its hours as Monday through Friday 7a to 7p and Saturday noon to 5p, with Sunday closed, and says it responds to calls, texts, and online bookings fast. It also says it works with most RV insurance providers and extended warranty plans and will walk you through what your coverage covers before any repair starts, which matters if you are not sure whether a warranty will pick up the cost.

Google rates it 5 stars from 153 reviews. One reviewer wrote that Dan "went through it carefully and gave me a much better understanding of its overall condition" after a pre-trip inspection on an older camper.

This is a good fit for a traveler stranded on the road in the Upstate, or an owner at home or in a storage lot who wants someone to come out rather than wait on a dealership slot.
