CMT Custom Detail

CMT Custom Detail is a mobile auto detailer based in Anderson, SC. It comes to your home or office, and its listed service area is "Anderson, SC and surrounding areas," with no radius given. RV work is one section of a car business, so ask whether it will come to a campground or storage lot.

The RV menu covers soft wash, wax and seal, gel coat polish and seal, and ceramic coating. The only RV type it names is camper. The work is exterior only, and roof cleaning is excluded on certain heights for safety. Nothing on that menu touches the air conditioner, refrigerator, slide-outs or generator.

Pricing is per foot. Soft wash starts at $10/ft, wax and seal starts at $20/ft, and gel coat polish and seal starts at $30/ft. All prices are starting prices, and "The type of vehicle and condition will determine the final estimate." Ceramic coating is TBD. No trip fee or hourly rate is published, so ask about the trip fee when you call. Hours are Monday through Sunday, with no times shown.

The owner has "over 30 years of experience in the car detailing industry," but no RV background is described. The "Professionally trained and certified installer of ceramic coatings" claim does not name a certifying program. The lifetime warranty appears under a car ceramic package, not the RV menu. No license or insurance statement is shown. Google rates it 5 stars from 89 reviews.

This is a good fit for a camper owner around Anderson who wants the outside washed or sealed at home and will ask about the trip fee before booking. It does not suit an owner who needs mechanical, electrical or roof work.
