Moore's Auto and RV Sales

Moore's Auto and RV Sales is an RV and auto dealership based in Towanda, PA. It comes to you, and you can also bring your RV to its shop on Golden Mile Road. How far its mobile service reaches is not spelled out, so ask whether it will come to your campground or driveway before you book.

The service department names roofs, appliances, slide-outs and awnings among its systems. It works on fifth wheels, toy haulers, motorhomes, folding campers and travel trailers, plus cars and trucks. No RV brands are named, so give your make and model when you call. It names Towanda, Sayre, Mansfield and Scranton as its service area.

Neither a trip fee nor an hourly rate is published, so ask about both when you call. Service hours run Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 4:30PM, and the shop is closed Saturday and Sunday. Ask about after-hours or emergency work too.

The shop describes its crew as "master technicians" who are "factory trained and certified." Factory training means the tech was taught the manufacturer's own equipment, which helps with a brand-specific fault. The makes those certifications cover are not named, and licensing, insurance and warranty details are not mentioned, so ask about all three before you book. Harold "Willy" Moore started the business in 1962, and it now has a "dedicated 3 bay RV service center." Google rates it 4.8 stars from 19 reviews, under the category RV repair shop.

This is a good fit for an RV owner around Towanda or Sayre who wants RV service at the same place that sells the rig, or a traveler in the towns it names who needs a roof, appliance, slide-out or awning looked at and will confirm the mobile reach first.
