Poppy's Mobile RV Repair Service LLC

Poppy's Mobile RV Repair Service LLC is a mobile RV tech based in Monongahela, Pennsylvania. It comes to you, and it follows the seasons: it works out of Western PA from April to November, then works out of the Sarasota, Florida area from November to April, so travelers in either region can reach the same tech year round.

It handles maintenance work like furnace cleaning, hot water heater flushes, winterizing and air conditioning cleaning, plus repairs on awnings, slide toppers, air conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators, roof vents and electrical systems. It also lists roof work. If a need is not listed, the page says to call and ask, which is worth doing since the published list does not cover every system.

There is no published trip fee or hourly rate, so ask about the trip fee and how mileage is handled when you call. Hours are listed as open every day, which matters when a fridge or furnace fails on a weekend far from a shop that keeps banker's hours.

The business is run by Sam, who goes by Poppy to his granddaughters, and who started the company out of a love of RVing and a wish to share what he knows. Google rates it 5 stars from 17 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler who splits time between western Pennsylvania and the Sarasota area and wants one tech who covers both, or anyone nearby who needs maintenance or a repair done at the campground or driveway rather than hauling the rig to a shop.
