K RV

K RV is a full-service RV repair shop based in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, on Route 30. You can bring your rig to its shop, or if it is immobile, K RV says it will come to you with mobile repair service "within our local travel area."

The shop works on A/C systems, refrigerators, slide-outs, leveling systems, roofs, awnings, generators, propane systems, plumbing, electrical wiring and circuit boards, solar and battery setups, and exterior body and paint work. It also handles tires, brakes, suspension, Pennsylvania state inspections, winterization, and annual RV checks, and services Class A, B and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and pop-up campers.

K RV does not publish a trip fee, hourly rate, or diagnostic fee, so ask about those when you call, along with whether a mobile visit covers your location. It does provide a detailed estimate before starting any repair, and accepts cash, credit cards, and certified bank checks. It does not take after-hours drop-offs, so plan to bring the RV in during business hours: Monday through Friday 9 to 5, Saturday 9 to 1, closed Sunday.

The shop says it honors "many of the leading manufacturer warranties," which matters if your RV is still under factory coverage and you want the repair to count toward it. It also works with most major insurance companies if the repair is part of a claim. Google rates it 4.5 stars from 158 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Jeannette who wants one shop for everything from a leaking roof to a dead slide-out, or a traveler stuck in the area whose rig cannot be driven in.
