Mikes Mobile RV

Mikes Mobile RV is a mobile RV repair and maintenance business based in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, and it also takes campers at its own location, where you can drop off your unit any day using a key tag drop box system. It serves travelers and owners either way, coming to the site when needed, as a testimonial describes, when Mike "came to my hotel in East York" to winterize a camper two days before Thanksgiving.

It works on furnaces, hot water heaters, fireplaces, electrical and plumbing systems, awnings and refrigerators on campers and fifth wheels, and handles winterizing, de-winterizing, roof cleaning and a yearly roof inspection. It also offers towing for fifth wheels, gooseneck and bumper pull trailers, with pricing by call. Site set up or removal, delivering or hooking up your unit, runs $250.00 plus $1.50 a mile.

No hourly rate is published, so ask about the trip fee when you call. Shop hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4:30, though the drop box accepts campers any day, and texting ahead with your name, address and email gets you an estimate before work starts. Mike has run this business since 2011, is listed as an authorized dealer and installer for South Central PA, and backs some work with what it calls its "Apex Warranty." Invoices are due on receipt, and a late payment adds a $35.00 per day fee, worth knowing before you sign anything.

Google rates it 4.7 stars from 213 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in the Dillsburg or York area who wants one person to call for both repairs and winterizing, and who does not mind a drop off system instead of a formal shop counter.
