Newport Marine & RV

Newport Marine & RV is a marine and RV service center based in South Beach, Oregon, at 4354 South Coast HWY, one mile south of Newport's Yaquina Bay Bridge. You bring the RV to its shop. It does not say whether it will come to a campsite or driveway, so ask when you call.

The shop works on boats and RVs and lists itself as authorized for Yamaha and Honda. Its certified Marine & RV technicians can help with "most types of service and repair," but no specific RV types or systems are named, so describe your rig when you call. The showroom carries RV and boat accessories and parts, and its parts team will order what it does not stock. It also offers storage.

It publishes no hourly rate, diagnostic fee or inspection price, so ask about those when you call. It advertises a "free estimate," so ask for one before you bring the rig in. The shop is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Its contact page also lists Saturday hours of 8am to 1pm, so confirm that before you drive down. It does not list after-hours or emergency service.

It has been "a family owned business in this community since 1992," and it is an official OSMB registered agent. The Oregon State Marine Board handles boat registration in Oregon, so that affiliation matters most for boats, but it shows the shop knows the state's boating paperwork. The shop does not state a warranty, a license or insurance, and it does not name its technicians, so ask about each before you book.

Google rates it 4.4 stars from 281 reviews and lists it as an RV repair shop.

This is a good fit for an owner on the Oregon Coast who wants a boat and an RV serviced at one shop and can bring the rig in on a weekday. A traveler stuck at a campground should call first, since the shop does not say it comes to campsites.
