Sky Auto Body

Sky Auto Body is an RV body shop based in Medford, Oregon. It describes itself as "Locally owned auto body and collision repair in Medford, Oregon," and you bring the RV to its shop at 1385 Sage Rd. The page says, "Walk in any weekday for a free estimate, or call us at 541-500-0318."

For RVs, the shop handles "body damage, structural repair, and roof leaks on RVs and motorhomes." Its listed RV work covers sidewall and slide-out damage, front caps, roof damage, and awning and exterior fixture replacement, on Class A motorhomes, Class C, fifth wheels, travel trailers and toy haulers. A roof leak is worth an early estimate, because water that gets past a roof seal can rot the framing under it. The shop also repairs cars, boats and fleet vehicles. No service area beyond Medford is stated.

It publishes no hourly rate, no RV prices and no trip fee, so ask how it prices an RV repair before you drive in. The estimate itself is free. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with Saturday and Sunday closed. No after-hours or emergency service is stated, so plan a weekday visit.

The page says "I-CAR Certified technicians." I-CAR is the collision repair industry's training program, so it is the certification to look for on structural work. The shop also says "Work is backed by a limited lifetime warranty," and it uses "factory parts on nearly every job, not aftermarket." Travis is the owner. Google rates the shop 5.0 from 23 reviews, and the shop takes any and all insurance, with the claim work "handled for you."

This is a good fit for an owner in Medford who has roof, sidewall or slide-out damage and wants a free estimate before deciding, or for a traveler who can get a damaged rig to Medford on a weekday.
