Florence RV and Automotive Specialists

Florence RV and Automotive Specialists is an auto and RV repair shop based in Florence, Oregon, on U.S. 101 on the central Oregon coast. It comes to you at an RV park or on your own property when the work allows. When a repair cannot be done on site, you bring the RV to its shop.

It diagnoses and repairs RVs and cars in three service bays it describes as "all RV Capable," and it runs towing and roadside help with three tow vehicles. No RV types, brands or service area are published, so ask whether it works on your make and whether it will come to your campground or driveway.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about the trip fee when you call. Costs vary between mobile and shop work. Roadside operators are "on stand by 24/7/365" at 541-997-2415, and the repair line is 541-997-8287.

Its technicians are ASE Certified. ASE is the national certification for automotive technicians, so ask whether the technicians on your rig have RV-specific training too. The shop has served RV and auto owners for "more than three decades," and Google rates it 4.1 stars from 150 reviews. As a Certified AAA Towing Service, it works with AAA, so AAA members should call AAA first. It does not tow vehicles that have left the main roads, including out on the Oregon Dunes or off maintained Forest Service roads.

This is a good fit for an RV owner near Florence who wants work done at a campground or storage lot, or for a traveler on U.S. 101 who needs a tow at any hour and is on the main roads, not the dunes.
