Flyte Camp, LLC

Flyte Camp, LLC is a travel trailer restoration and renovation business based in Bend, Oregon, at 63575 OB Riley Rd. It calls itself "Expert Travel Trailer Restoration & Adventure Van Builds," so think of it as a build and restoration shop rather than a service truck. It does not say whether it comes to your site or whether you bring the RV to its shop, so ask that before you book.

It works on pre-1964 vintage travel trailers and Airstreams, and it builds adventure vehicles, which it describes as your "ultimate travel or tow vehicle." Its renovations include water holding systems, electrical self-containment with inverter systems, batteries and solar panels, on-demand hot water, appliances and A/V systems. These are features built into a renovated trailer, not a fix for a fridge that quit on the road.

Its hours are listed from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm, and it works "By Appointment Only." It publishes no prices, no trip fee and no service area, and no lead time beyond the appointment. Since nothing is listed, the first call is where you find out what a project costs and how long it will take.

It says it has "over 70 years of combined experience" and has done "over a hundred vintage travel trailer restorations." Google rates it 4.3 stars from 34 reviews. No owner or technician is named, and no license, insurance, certifications or warranty are listed, so ask who does the work, what is covered, and get the scope in writing.

This is a good fit for an owner with a pre-1964 vintage travel trailer or an Airstream who wants a restoration or custom renovation, or who wants a built-out adventure van, and who can plan around an appointment. It is not the place to call when a slide-out sticks at a campground.
