TECI-RV

TECI-RV is a mobile RV tech based in Ashville, Ohio, run by Joe Testa. It comes to you, and does not have a shop you bring the RV to.

Joe works on electrical systems (120V AC and 12V DC, breakers, short circuits, circuit tracing, converter and inverter diagnosis), propane systems, pressure checks and leak detection, freshwater and gray/black tanks, water pressure regulators, de-winterization and winterization, plumbing, furnaces, refrigerators and water heaters, on both motorhomes and towables. No service area or radius is published, so ask when you call whether Ashville is within range.

The rate is $180 per hour, with any unused diagnostic time applied to repair time. The diagnostic call fee is $90 for 30 minutes of diagnostics and repair, and any unused minutes of that half hour can go toward something else, like a quick walkthrough of a system. After that, repair time is billed in 15-minute blocks: $45 for the first 15 minutes, up to $180 for a full hour. Travel runs $2.00 per mile one way, and there is a 10% discount for paying cash or check instead of card. There is no warranty on repairs: you pay up front and can submit to a warranty company yourself for possible reimbursement.
