Happy Traveler Mobile RV Repair

Happy Traveler Mobile RV Repair is a mobile RV tech based in Ashley, Ohio. It comes to you, though no service area or radius is published, so ask when you call how far they will travel.

It works on Class A motorhomes (no chassis work), fifth wheels and travel trailers, plus horse trailers with living quarters, food trailers and enclosed trailers. It does not work on pop-ups. The job list runs from dewinterizing and spring opening to roof inspection, repair and replacement, roof and side caulking, and full unit inspections and demonstrations. It handles RV appliances including AC, furnace, water heater, refrigerator, microwave, stove and fireplace, fresh and grey water tank work, leveling jacks, slide room diagnosis and repair, slide toppers, tongue jacks, hitch setup and adjustment, awnings and awning fabric, freshwater systems, 12V and 120V diagnosis including inverters and converters, battery work, OEM solar, steps, and towable chassis work including tires, axles, brakes and suspension. If something is not on the list, it says to reach out.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about cost and what it covers before a tech comes out. Office hours run 9am to 1pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, closed Thursdays.

Spencer and Kristy Thompson have owned and run the business since 2019. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 50 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner who wants one tech to handle nearly anything on a Class A, fifth wheel or travel trailer without hauling it to a shop, and who does not mind calling ahead to settle the cost of the visit.
