Truxton Mobile RV Service

Truxton Mobile RV Service is a mobile RV repair business, and it describes its work as "Mobile RV Repair, Maintenance, Upgrades and Inspections." It comes to you on Hatteras Island and names Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras Villages as places it serves. It does not publish a street address or a home base, so ask where the tech is coming from before you book.

It lists air conditioning, furnaces, refrigerators, H2O Heaters, appliances, awnings, roof vents and seals, electrical components and performance accessories. It does not name RV types or brands, so ask whether the work covers your make and model when you call. To start, call or text with your RV's year, make, model and location, plus a description of the problem.

It publishes no prices, trip fee, hourly rate or hours. Its response promise is "We will respond ASAP." Ask about the trip fee and hourly rate before the tech heads out, and ask whether the work is licensed, insured or under warranty, since none of that is stated. Google rates it 5 stars from 3 reviews. Buxton is "closing for the season on October 10th," and its summer schedule covers Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras Villages from Memorial Day to Labor Day, so confirm dates before you plan around them.

This is a good fit for an owner or traveler on Hatteras Island who wants a tech to come to the RV for an air conditioning, refrigerator, awning or roof seal problem, and who will confirm the price before any work starts.
