Lake Gaston Auto & RV

Lake Gaston Auto & RV is an auto, truck and RV repair shop based in Littleton, North Carolina. You can bring your RV to the shop, where drop off begins at 8:30 a.m., or for a rig that is broken down or set up on a permanent site, its mobile team will come out to do the repair onsite.

It works on engines, A/C units, fresh and black water systems, refrigerators and AquaHot units, along with heating, plumbing, generators, leveling systems, awnings, brakes, tires, suspension and steering, on motorhomes, trailers and fifth wheels. It names Littleton, Macon, Warrenton, Vaughan, Henrico, Lake Gaston, Roanoke Rapids and Norlina as the areas it covers.

No hourly rate, diagnostic fee or trip fee is published, so ask about the trip fee when you call, along with whether a mobile visit fits your location. Shop hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed weekends.

The technicians here have over 60 years of combined RV and auto repair experience, and the RV team is trained by the manufacturers of the components that make up a rig, which matters when a modern RV hands you a tablet instead of a dial for its leveling or climate settings. For those traveling through, the shop offers a coast to coast warranty, so a repair done here can still be honored if something comes up down the road. Google rates it 4.5 stars from 140 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near Lake Gaston or Roanoke Rapids who wants one shop for both the chassis and the house systems, or a traveler parked at a site nearby whose A/C, fridge or slide-out has quit and who would rather have a tech come to them than arrange a tow.
