Diptes

Diptes is a mobile auto and RV detailing business on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It comes to you, under the line "Detailed care where your vehicle is." No base town or street address is stated. Its service area is Duck, Corolla, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, Manteo, Grandy, Aydlett, Poplar Branch, and surrounding Currituck County communities.

The work is detailing, not repair. For RVs and campers it names exterior wash and finish care, interior surface cleaning, and wheels, tires, glass, and trim, and it lists no mechanical work. Salt and sand settle on a rig that sits near the coast for weeks, so regular washing protects the finish. For a dead slide-out or an AC fault, you need a repair shop instead.

Diptes publishes no trip fee, no RV prices and no hours, so ask about the trip fee and the price for your rig when you call 252.421.0404. What it does offer is "free, no-obligation estimates with straightforward pricing and no surprises," with pricing coming "before work begins."

The business describes itself as "licensed and insured," which matters when a crew works on your rig where it is parked. It says every team member is "trained to provide quality work," but no certification is named, so ask what training the crew has before you book.

This is a good fit for an RV owner on the Outer Banks or in Currituck County who wants a rig washed and finished where it is parked, and who wants a price before anyone arrives.
