Auman Motor Company LLC

Auman Motor Company LLC is an auto repair shop based in High Point, North Carolina. It works on RVs for inspections only, and you bring the RV to its shop at 705 E. Fairfield Rd. There is no mention of it coming to your campground or driveway, so ask when you call whether that is ever an option for you.

The RV inspection covers a Vehicle Safety RV Inspection and Fluid Testing & Analysis, and the shop lists the price at $13.60 each. That is a published number worth knowing before you show up, since most RV owners never get a number until the invoice lands on the windshield. Beyond inspections, the shop's other listed work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, electrical, heating and air conditioning repair, suspension work) is described for cars, trucks and SUVs, not RVs, so ask directly if you need something fixed on the rig itself rather than inspected.

Auman Motor Company says it is "a licensed and insured auto repair shop," and it backs its auto repair services with a one year or 12,000 mile warranty. The shop has been run by the Auman family since 1953, which puts it at 66 years in High Point, a long run for a small local shop to keep its doors open.

Google rates it 4.8 stars from 110 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner near High Point who needs a documented safety inspection done cheap and is willing to bring the rig in, rather than someone with a rig broken down on the road looking for a mobile repair.
