JIMCO TRAILER & RV

Jimco Trailer & RV is a shop based in Greensboro, North Carolina, that also builds custom interiors for horse trailers and vans. For repairs, you bring the RV or trailer to its location on NC-150, where it works on both the outside and the inside of the rig.

On the exterior side, Jimco handles roof repair and replacement, window repair, water damage repair, delamination repair and minor collision repair. Inside, it takes on appliance repair and replacement, plumbing, electrical work, flooring and cabinetry repair or replacement, cabinetry painting and interior water damage repair. It also installs motorized awnings and hydraulic jacks, and does warranty and insurance work, which matters if your repair is covered and you need a shop willing to deal with the paperwork.

Jimco does not publish a trip fee, an hourly rate or set hours on its site, so ask about all three when you call, along with whether it can look at your rig if you cannot make it to Greensboro.

Jim Mooney started the business over 30 years ago after building one of the first living quarters inside a gooseneck horse trailer for his own family, and the company grew from there as other trailer owners asked for the same work.
