The Camper Pros

The Camper Pros is a mobile RV repair service based in Bostic, North Carolina. It comes to you, at your campsite, storage lot or driveway, so you never have to pack up and move a broken rig to a shop.

It works on motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers and more, covering electrical diagnosis and repair, heating and cooling, refrigerators, air conditioners, awnings, black tank service and slide-out maintenance. It also offers RV pre-purchase inspections and a free roof inspection, which matters because a roof is exposed to the weather year round and small cracks in the seams turn into leaks if nobody looks. Its service area covers Rutherford County and the surrounding foothills, including Lake Lure, Boiling Springs, Tryon and the Tryon Equestrian Center, plus parts of northwestern South Carolina.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask about those when you call. The business does say "Our pricing is all flat rate so you do not have to watch the clock while we work," which at least means you agree on a number before the tech starts. Most jobs are finished the same day, and hours run Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm, closed Sunday.

The Camper Pros is family owned, with Ross Deprey handling the fieldwork and Heather Deprey managing parts and billing, so you are dealing with the same people call to call rather than a rotating crew. Google rates it 5 stars from 216 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler stranded in the Rutherford County foothills or the Tryon area with a dead AC, fridge or slide-out, or an owner who wants a roof looked at or a rig checked over before buying.
