Yadkin Valley Camper Rental & Repair LLC
Own this business? Update this listingYadkin Valley Camper Rental & Repair LLC is a camper rental business that also does mobile RV repair, based in Boonville, NC. The repair comes to you. It says "we come to your home, storage lot, or campground," and it serves clients "within 2 hours of Boonville," including Elkin, Wilkesboro, Mount Airy and Winston-Salem.
The repair side covers A/C repair and diagnostics, re-caulking and sealing, minor water damage repairs, and roof leak diagnosis, patching, seam sealing and preventative roof maintenance on travel trailers. It does not do full roof replacements. Roof work matters most at a campsite, because a seam that lets water in can soak a wall or floor well before anything shows inside. Sealing it where the trailer sits saves you a tow.
Its trip fee is the $100 service call fee, which covers up to 1 hour of travel time. Drive time past that is billed at $100/hr, and parts and labor are billed separately. No hourly labor rate or business hours are published, and no after-hours service is stated, so ask about those and the total before any work starts. Its rentals include delivery and setup or self pickup, and it says it will "personally respond ASAP" to inquiries.
Jon McHone is the owner, and the family has owned campers since 2017. The business calls itself "Family-Owned & Mobile Service." No certification, license, insurance or warranty is named, so ask about each one by name. Google rates it 5 stars from 3 reviews, which is a small sample.
This is a good fit for an owner within 2 hours of Boonville with a travel trailer that has a roof leak, failed caulk or an A/C to diagnose, and who would rather the work happen where the trailer sits.
