Fireside RV

Fireside RV is an RV repair center based in Albemarle, North Carolina. It runs a shop at its Albemarle location, and it also offers mobile servicing for full time RV owners who cannot make the trip in, so you can bring the rig to them or ask about a visit to your site.

They work on awnings, refrigerators, freezers, hot water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, slide-outs, jacks and leveling systems, generators, power converters and inverters, sewage containment units, entertainment systems, LP appliances, plumbing, and all electrical, both DC and AC, plus roof maintenance and roof replacement. They service all types of RVs. Their stated service area is a 35 mile radius from their Albemarle home base, though they say that range can be extended under certain circumstances if you call to ask.

No trip fee or hourly rate is published. Fireside RV says rates vary by job, with some services flat rate and others billed hourly, so ask for a rate schedule when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 to 5 Eastern, and they say they will do their best to accommodate after-hours situations by appointment.

They work with all insurance companies and most RV manufacturer warranties, along with after-market warranties like Forever Warranty, which matters if you would rather not haul your rig to a large dealer network to get warranty work honored. They also perform pre-purchase inspections and pre-trip checks. Google rates them 4.9 stars from 45 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner within that 35 mile radius who wants a shop and mobile option in one place, or a traveler needing a pre-trip check or warranty work handled locally.
