Ulster Rv LLc

Ulster RV LLc is an RV repair shop based in Kingston, New York. All jobs are performed on site, which means a tech comes to your RV rather than you hauling it to a shop, saving you a long and costly trip to a service center.

It works on AC systems, roofs, floors, leaks, refrigerators, awnings, furnaces, water heaters and wheel bearings. It also handles camper moves, brake controller and hitch installs, audio, video and satellite system installs, and remodels. It is an authorized dealer for Lippert, Norcold, Thetford, Dometic and others, so parts and warranty work on those systems do not have to get routed through a dealer. It serves Ulster and Greene counties and the surrounding area.

There is no published hourly rate or trip fee, so ask about those when you call, along with whether it can come to your campsite or driveway. It accepts most warranty and insurance plans, which is worth mentioning up front if your repair might be covered.

The business has over 30 years of repair experience covering automotive and RV systems, and its technician is "fully licensed and insured certified technician by the RV Technical Institution," a certification worth asking about by name since it points to formal RV-specific training rather than general mechanical work. Google rates it 4.8 stars from 18 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler in the Ulster or Greene county area who would rather keep the RV parked and get the repair done where it sits, especially for refrigerator, AC or roof problems that are hard to move a rig with.
