Results Detailing

Results Detailing is a mobile car detailing and pressure washing business based in Ithaca, New York, and it is owner-operated. It comes to you, and it says "we bring the shop to your driveway anywhere in Ithaca NY and the Fingerlakes Region." Motorhomes are a specialty line, not its main trade. Google rates it 5 stars from 27 reviews.

Motorhomes fall under a specialty heading with semi-trucks, boats and aircraft, described as "Same quality, custom-quoted for your rig." The highlights listed there are exterior oxidation removal, paint correction, ceramic protection, UV damage elimination and sleeper cab deep cleaning. Its car work adds interior detailing, headlight restoration, undercoating and maintenance plans. Nothing it lists covers engines, air conditioners, refrigerators, generators, roofs or slide-outs, so a traveler with one of those problems needs another shop.

Motorhome work has no published price or trip fee, and the prices it publishes are for cars. It says "We'll reply within one business day," so the route to a quote is a call or an email. It publishes no hourly rate, so ask about the trip fee and payment terms when you call. Its hours are 5pm to 10pm Monday, Thursday and Friday, and 7am to 11pm Saturday and Sunday. Tuesday and Wednesday are by contact only.

It does not state a license or insurance and names no certifications, so ask about both before you book. Paint correction polishes defects out of the paint, and a ceramic coating seals in whatever is underneath, so the surface should be right before the coating goes on. This work is cosmetic and protective, not mechanical.

This is a good fit for an owner around Ithaca, Trumansburg, Dryden or another listed town who wants a motorhome's paint or finish restored and protected, and who can wait for a custom quote.
