Perfect Bodies Auto Body

Perfect Bodies Auto Body is an auto body and collision shop based in Bohemia, New York, on Long Island. You bring the RV to its shop rather than the other way around.

It works on collision repair, general servicing, engine issues, body damage, roof replacement and mechanical repairs, and names itself a certified repair center for THOR Motor Coach, Forest River, Coachmen and Jayco, with experience across other brands too. That matters if your rig is one of those names and you want a shop that already knows the parts and panel layouts rather than learning on your repair.

The shop has not published a trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee, so ask about cost and turnaround when you call. It is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, closed Saturday and Sunday.

Perfect Bodies has been in business since 1991, which is a long run for a collision shop to stay open on Long Island. It offers warranties on "all RV repairs and services," covering both collision work and routine maintenance, and says "if any issues arise after the repair, we'll make it right, guaranteed," so a repair that fails later is covered rather than a second bill. It also handles insurance paperwork directly, which saves a traveler the back and forth between shop and adjuster after a collision claim. The shop is a member of Sons of Italy and supports several local groups around Bohemia.

This is a good fit for an owner near Long Island who has RV body damage, a roof that needs replacing or a mechanical problem, and wants a shop with decades of collision experience and a brand-specific RV repair track record, rather than a mobile visit at the campsite.
