Weldon Mobile RV Service

Weldon Mobile RV Service is a mobile RV tech based in the Montague, NJ area, serving the NY-NJ-PA tri-state area. It comes to you, at home, in a storage lot or at a campground, within an hour's drive.

It works on air conditioners, absorption refrigerators, water heaters, furnaces, slide-outs, awnings, solar power and generators. It also installs the Micro-Air EasyStart soft starter, which includes a complimentary A/C cleaning and inspection, priced at $425 for one, with a discount if you order two or three.

The service fee is $125, which covers travel to your location inside of one hour drive. The hourly rate is $175, and the EasyStart install price above does not include that mobile service fee. Jobs come with a 90 day labor warranty, so if something lets go soon after the repair, the return visit is covered rather than a new bill. Hours are listed as 8 am to 3 pm, and the business adds, "these hours are typical, but we can be flexible depending on your needs."

The husband and wife team behind it, Amy and her husband, have lived the RV life for over 20 years and attended the National RV Training Academy in Athens, TX to make RV service and repair their profession. That kind of formal training matters when a mobile tech is the one deciding whether your fridge needs a new cooling unit or just a fan.

Google rates it 5 stars from 47 reviews.

This is a good fit for a traveler or owner in the NY-NJ-PA tri-state area who wants a tech to come to the campground or driveway, with a published trip fee and hourly rate instead of a guess over the phone.
