At Your Service Mobile RV Tech is a mobile RV tech based in Rochester, New Hampshire. Randy Bowen runs it, and he comes to your campsite, eliminating the trip to a dealership or repair shop and the wait that comes with it.

He works on furnaces, air conditioners, absorption refrigerators, water heaters, awnings, slide toppers, slides, leveling systems and bulb and blade seals, along with plumbing, electrical and sealant issues, on motorhomes and travel trailers. He also handles winterizing and de-winterizing, and fluid analysis sampling at $60.00 for one sample with each additional sample discounted 10 percent. He does not work on Aqua Hot systems, generators, solar systems or anything mechanical like engines, axles or suspension. He serves the greater Rochester, New Hampshire area.

The hourly rate is $120.00 per hour with a one-hour minimum, time starting when he reaches the campground entrance and billed in quarter-hour increments after that first hour. The service call fee is $2.00 per mile round trip, so it is worth asking upfront how far your site is from Rochester. He backs his work with a 30-day labor warranty, with parts covered by the manufacturer. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Randy trained at the National Recreational Vehicle Training Academy and is certified through the Recreational Vehicle Technician Association of America. He also notes that if he cannot diagnose or fix a problem, he will not charge for the time spent trying, which matters when a repair turns out to be more involved than expected.

This is a good fit for a traveler camped in the greater Rochester area with a slide, AC or fridge problem who would rather not break camp, or an owner nearby who wants the RV opened or closed for the season without hauling it anywhere.
