Leading Edge RV is a mobile RV repair service based in Reno, Nevada. It comes to you, setting up at your site with a 16 foot enclosed trailer that serves as its on-site shop, and it serves the Reno and Sparks area.

It handles general repairs and maintenance on travel trailers and fifth wheels, with work on brands including Atwood, Dometic, Truma, Lippert and Airxcel. It is also Northern Nevada's only authorized Aqua Hot service center, which matters if your rig's hydronic heating system needs factory parts and specialized labor rather than a generic fix. It does not touch engines, transmissions, axles, chassis or roadside breakdowns, so it is not the call for a rig that will not move.

The trip fee is $85, charged once per visit even if you are already in the same RV park where it has another job that day. The shop rate is $160 an hour for one NRVIA certified tech and the mobile shop, with a one hour minimum, and it rises to $185 an hour for Aqua Hot labor. Winterizing for travel trailers and fifth wheels starts at $249. Pre-purchase inspections start at $529 for towables and $749 for motorized rigs, plus the trip fee, and come with a written report, which is worth having before you hand over money for a used RV. Cancel inside 24 hours and the fee is $85; no-show the appointment and it is $160.

Google rates it 4.9 stars from 73 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in Reno or Sparks who wants a tech and shop to show up at the driveway or campground instead of hauling a trailer across town, or a buyer who wants an inspection before closing on a used rig.
