Open Roads RV

Open Roads RV is a mobile RV repair service based in Elko, NV. It comes to you. Its service area runs through Wells, Crescent Valley, Winnemucca, Battle Mountain, Eureka, Wendover, Spring Creek and Ryndon, and it names more towns beyond that list. No service radius is stated, so ask whether it will come to your campground, storage lot or driveway in the town you are in.

It lists blowout damage, plumbing repair, electrical system troubleshooting and propane system inspections by licensed technicians under repairs and maintenance. It also offers solar installs and upgrades and winterizing. A mobile tech matters on a repair like this because the rig does not have to be towed or driven to a shop. A propane inspection by a licensed technician is worth booking before a long trip or after a rig has sat over winter.

Open Roads RV does not publish a trip fee, an hourly rate or prices for jobs, so ask about the trip fee when you call 775-388-7445 before anyone is on the way. Its hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, with Saturday and Sunday closed and holiday hours that may vary. No weekend or after-hours service is stated, and no warranty on repairs is stated either.

John and Angela Starman started the business after moving to Elko. John brings years of RV repair industry experience to it, and Angela brings experience as a business owner. The business describes its goal as "quality mobile RV service to Northern Nevada." No certifications for the business are named. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 80 reviews, under the category repair service.

This is a good fit for an owner in Elko or one of the Northern Nevada towns listed who wants a propane check or a repair done where the rig is parked, and who will ask about the trip fee before booking.
