Yellowstone Dino Lube & Repair

Yellowstone Dino Lube & Repair is a full service auto and RV repair and tire center based in Gardiner, Montana, just north of Yellowstone National Park. Auto repair is the main trade, with RV work alongside it. You bring the RV to its shop at 375 US HWY 89 S. Ask whether it ever works on site before you count on that.

Its ASE Certified Mechanics service and repair "all makes and models of domestic and import vehicles, including RVs and camper vans." Camper vans are the only RV type it names, and no RV brands are listed. Air conditioning service, tire repair, belts and hoses, welding and complete diagnostic services are all on the list, so ask about your specific problem by name.

It publishes no hourly rate, diagnostic fee or job prices, so ask for those when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and it is closed Saturday and Sunday. No emergency or after-hours service is stated. The warranty covers qualifying services and repairs for 24 months or 24,000 miles on non-commercial vehicles up to and including 1 ton. "We provide the parts and perform the labor." Check that your rig falls under the 1 ton limit.

ASE certification is earned by individual technicians through testing, so it tells you the technician has passed those tests. The shop is also a certified NAPA AutoCare Center, and "your vehicle manufacturer’s warranty will stay in effect if you need any regularly scheduled maintenance performed." For an RV owner with a factory warranty, routine service done here should not put that coverage at risk. Google rates it 4.8 stars from 190 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner in or near Gardiner, or passing through on the way to Yellowstone, with a camper van or other RV that needs tire work, air conditioning service or welding, who can bring it in on a weekday and call ahead to confirm the rig is covered.
