Hwy 36 Auto & Diesel

Hwy 36 Auto & Diesel is an auto and diesel repair shop based in Osborn, MO, that also offers 24/7 towing and heavy rescue. It does not say whether it comes to your campground or driveway, so ask that when you call.

Its services are tune-ups, brakes, alignments, transmissions and preventative maintenance. Motorhomes are the only RV type it names, and its claim reaches "every sized trailer" and semi tractors as well. Its services do not name RV systems such as slide-outs, roofs or refrigerators, so describe your problem in full before you book.

The package list does not say they apply to a motorhome. No hourly rate, trip fee or diagnostic fee is published, so ask for all three when you call. After hours, it lists "24/7 Emergency Services & Towing." Its regular hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and it is closed Saturday and Sunday.

It says its technicians are "ASE-Certified technicians," which means they have passed national tests in specific repair areas. It also offers "a 30 day warranty on all of our work." The shop has been in business "since the 1980’s," and Google rates it 4 stars from 161 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner with a motorhome who needs brakes, an alignment or a tune-up on a weekday and will ask about the trip fee first, or for a traveler who needs a heavy tow at any hour.
