Care Detailing & Reconditioning

Care Detailing & Reconditioning is a detailing shop based in Independence, Missouri, and it also comes to you. You can bring your RV to its Independence location, or its mobile team can work on it in your driveway, at work, or wherever it is parked.

For RVs and trailers, it restores exterior shine, cleans interiors, and applies ceramic coating to protect against sun damage and road grime. Ceramic coating on an RV matters more than on a car, since a rig sits outside in the weather for days or weeks at a stretch between trips. The shop notes that its coatings "can last 2 5 years, depending on the package you choose." Multi-layer, longer-lasting coating systems are done at the Independence shop rather than on-site, since they need controlled conditions to cure properly. Its mobile team covers Independence, Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Lawrence, and Topeka, and says the van is "fully self-contained with water, power, and professional equipment," so you do not need to supply either.

There is no published price list specific to RVs, so ask about cost and trip fee when you call. Hours are Monday through Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 2, closed Sunday.

Google rates it 4.9 stars from 23 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in the Kansas City metro who wants the rig's paint and interior refreshed or protected before a trip, and who would rather schedule a mobile visit at home than haul the RV somewhere.
