Transport Trailer Services

Transport Trailer Services is a commercial truck and trailer shop based in Tupelo, Mississippi, at 502 Crossover Rd. It sells truck and trailer parts and does repair work, and its focus is commercial trucks and trailers. Ask when you call whether it comes to your campsite or driveway, or whether you bring the rig in.

The shop describes its range as "a wide array of services, from routine maintenance to major repair work on semi-trailers, dump trucks, tractor trailers, RV's and coach buses." The systems it names are general truck repair, wheel end repair, electrical issues, A/C repair and heavy-duty wheel alignment, done on Hunter alignment equipment. It also lists air brake system service, suspension and brake service and trailer reconstruction. A/C repair appears under truck repair, so ask whether it works on RV air conditioners before you book.

It does not publish a trip fee, an hourly rate or prices for RV work. Ask about the trip fee and the cost of a diagnosis when you call. Hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, and closed Sunday. No after-hours or emergency service is listed.

Jason and Adam Childers lead the truck repair work, and the shop describes their experience as over 35 years. Its parts department carries over 7,000 commercial trailer parts. It names no certification, license, insurance or warranty, so ask about each one before you book. Google rates it 4.7 stars from 65 reviews, under the category Trailer repair shop.

This is a good fit for an owner with a heavy-duty truck, a commercial trailer or a coach in North Mississippi who needs an alignment, brake or suspension job, or parts. An RV owner with a campground problem should ask first whether the shop takes on that kind of RV work.
