Own this business? Update this listingRaper RV Shop, LLC is an RV repair and custom paint shop based in Golden, Mississippi. It serves Red Bay, Golden, Belmont and "the whole Tennessee Valley Area." Its pages do not say whether it comes to your campsite, storage lot or driveway, so ask that before you plan around it.
Most of its work is body and paint: full body paint, custom paint, buffing and cutting out scratches, stripe work inside slide boxes, and repairs after tire blowouts. It also lists awning installation and repair, slide toppers, windows, ladders, entry steps, roof reseals and roof coating, trim reseals, surge protectors, SeeLevel systems, and hose and shore power cord reels. It names Tiffin, Zephyr, Allegro, Phaeton, Newmar, American Tradition, Thor and Damon Intruder, along with Class A motorhomes, campers and trailers. Air conditioners, refrigerators and generators are not on its list.
It publishes no trip fee, hourly rate or job price, so ask about the trip fee first when you call. It offers a free estimate. Its hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, and Saturday, 8am to 12pm, with Sunday closed. It lists no after-hours or emergency service. It welcomes insurance claims, which matters if a blowout or fender repair is going through your insurer.
It names no certifications, licensing or warranty, so ask what it will put in writing before work starts. Its pages name Eric, Luke, Blake and Kevin and describe "over 17 years experience." Google rates it 4.8 stars from 27 reviews.
This is a good fit for an owner in the Tennessee Valley who needs paint, body or roof work and wants a free estimate before any money changes hands.
