Pleasureland RV

Pleasureland RV is an RV dealer with a service department, based in Shakopee, Minnesota, with additional locations across Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. You can bring your RV to one of its shops, or it will send a mobile service out to your site by appointment, so either a driveway repair or an in-store job is on the table depending on what works for you.

The service department handles minor and major maintenance, warranty work and repairs. Its own description says it gives "the expert service you need to handle your minor or major maintenance, warranty or repair needs to your satisfaction." It also offers a Safety and Appliance Inspection, which tests major RV appliances and checks safety devices for age and function, a useful step before a long trip or after buying a used rig.

For mobile service, pricing depends on distance from the shop: $109 for 0 to 30 miles, $189 for 31 to 60, $269 for 61 to 90, $349 for 91 to 120, and $429 for 121 to 150, with locations past that asked to call directly. That trip charge covers getting a tech to you and back, not labor. Labor runs $175 an hour, billed in half-hour increments. The Safety and Appliance Inspection is listed at $495.99. Mobile work is not covered under manufacturer warranty or by Pleasureland RV itself, worth knowing before you book one over an in-store visit. Service hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, closed weekends.

Pleasureland RV has served RV families since 1971. Google rates it 4.6 stars from 353 reviews.

This is a good fit for an owner near one of its Upper Midwest locations who wants either a shop visit or a mobile tech at the campsite, and who wants a priced inspection before buying or before a season of travel.
