EXPERT TRUCK & RV SERVICE

Expert Truck & RV Service is an RV repair business based at Buy RV Sell RV in Oronoco, Minnesota. It works on travel trailers and fifth wheels, and it names Onan and Blue Ox as the brands it services. It does not say whether it comes to you or takes the rig in, so ask that first.

Its listed work is "Full RV Service," described as "Full Service & Repair, inside and out." That covers full preventative maintenance, RV chassis repair and service, RV appliances and systems, RV parts, and braking systems. Flat towing is a big part of the business. It installs full flat towing setups, which let you tow a car behind the RV using a baseplate, the bracket that mounts to the car. Its package deals include baseplate installation, the braking system, brake and turn light wiring, and a full setup walkthrough with your coach when the work is done. It recommends Blue Ox but "can install other systems and setups."

It does not publish a trip fee or an hourly rate, so ask what a repair will cost before you bring the rig in. For a flat towing setup, it asks you to send your year, make and model for a full quote. Its hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and from January through March they shift to Tuesday through Friday, same times. It holds a certification in Onan generator repair, which matters if the generator is the problem, since it means the shop has been trained on that line. Google rates it 4.8 stars from 76 reviews.

This is a good fit for a travel trailer or fifth wheel owner in Oronoco who wants a flat towing setup or generator repair done on a weekday.
