Silver Flamingo

Silver Flamingo is an Airstream restoration and repair shop based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You bring your Airstream to them rather than the other way around, since the business does not mention coming to your site.

The shop works only on Airstreams, and its specialty runs deeper than a typical repair stop. It offers elite exterior polishing to a mirror finish, aluminum panel replacement and repair, appliance replacement and upgrades, window tinting, winterizing, minor electrical and plumbing work, welding, and general maintenance. This is a place for an older Airstream that needs real bodywork or a full shine, not just a quick fix.

No pricing or hours are published, so ask about cost and scheduling when you call. The owner, Jesse Delgado, is named throughout the testimonials, and past clients describe multi-week projects on vintage models, including a 1962 and a 1965 Globetrotter, with Delgado sending photos and updates along the way. One client, writing as a company called American Silverstream, gives him "our continued vote of confidence and the highest marks for the professional work they do." Reviews also describe a tankless water heater and AC unit installed as part of a larger upgrade list, which gives a sense of the range of work this shop takes on beyond polishing alone.

Google rates Silver Flamingo 5 stars from 15 reviews.

This is a good fit for an Airstream owner with a vintage trailer that needs restoration work done right, polishing included, rather than a quick roadside fix.
