West Michigan Towable Solutions

West Michigan Towable Solutions is a repair shop for RVs and trailers, based at 441 Carmen Dr. in Spring Lake, Michigan. You bring the RV to its shop. It also does snow plow work and calls itself an "authorized dealer for Western Products."

It works on awnings and slide toppers, refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, water heaters, furnaces, AC units, converters, battery systems, wiring repairs, roof inspections and repairs, and RV winterization. It lists travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, toy haulers and pop-up campers. It serves "RV owners throughout West Michigan, including Muskegon, Grand Haven, Holland, and the surrounding areas," but gives no radius, so ask whether your town is covered.

The site publishes no prices, hourly rate, trip fee or shop hours, and it does not mention emergency service. It promises "Upfront Quotes" and "No surprises and no hidden fees," so ask for a quote before you book and ask what it covers and whether a trip fee applies. It recommends scheduling an appointment "so we can make sure the right technician and parts are ready for your visit."

The site mentions "Certified Technicians" but names no certifications, and it states no license, insurance or warranty. The shop started in October 2015 as "a one-man operation" and now runs from a "6,000 sq. ft. facility." Dan LaClair founded it alongside Anna Darwin and Paul LaClair. Timing matters with winterization: a freeze can crack a water heater or split a line, and the damage often shows up in spring, so book it before the first hard freeze. Google rates the shop 4.9 stars from 44 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in the Muskegon, Grand Haven or Holland area who can bring the rig to Spring Lake, wants winterization or roof work booked ahead, or needs an awning or appliance repair and is willing to get the quote before the work starts.
