Mint Detailing
Own Mint Detailing? Update this listingMint Detailing is an auto, boat and RV detailing shop based at 7711 M-46 Gratiot Rd in Saginaw, Michigan. Detailing is its main trade, and RV and camper work is one line on its menu. It comes to you for pickup and drop-off: "We drive to your location & pick up your vehicle." RV pickup is not confirmed, though, so ask before you book. Its current servicing area is "9 miles from our 7711 Gratiot location," while it also names the greater Saginaw-Bay region as its service area.
RV jobs must be booked in person or by call or text, and no RV-specific prices are published. Work at a campground, RV park, storage lot or driveway is not described. The published prices are Hand Wash + Dry at $44.99 for any size, Interior Detail starting at $149.99, Signature Detail starting at $199.99, an exterior package with buffing starting at $209.99, and the top package starting at $449.99. No hourly rate is published. The trip fee is "$29.99 Add-On with any other package," so ask whether it applies to an RV before you book. Free pickup comes only with the top package.
Lobby hours run Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm, with Saturday by appointment only and closed Sunday. The listed hours also show 5pm, so confirm the closing time when you call. No emergency or after-hours service is listed. For rush work: "We do offer an exclusive rush fee, talk to David or Marcus about it."
It is "one of Saginaw County’s only Ceramic Pro installers," and an installer is trained by the coating maker, which matters before a coating goes on a camper's paint. It is "licensed & insured by Mid-Valley Insurance / Frankenmuth Insurance Agency." Its warranty is "Satisfaction guaranteed," so ask what that covers. Q. David Hickey II is the owner and operator, and the shop has been around about 15 years, formerly as DJ's Detailing. Google rates it 4.9 stars from 140 reviews.
This is a good fit for an owner near Saginaw who wants a detailed interior or a ceramic coating on a camper, can book ahead, and will confirm the trip fee and RV pickup before anything is scheduled.
