K&D RV CENTER

K&D RV Center is a family owned repair and collision facility based in Roscommon, Michigan. You bring the RV to its shop, which has four large bays for repairs, and it does not come to you.

It works on travel trailers, fifth wheels, truck campers, Class A, Class A diesel, Class B, Class C and hybrid RVs, along with horse and utility trailers. Work covers brakes and bearing replacement, rubber roof repairs and roof wash and conditioning, 12 volt and 110 volt electrical repair, LP repairs and installations, awning repair, appliance repair and replacement, hitching installations including tow dollies and tow bars, siding repair and replacement, generator oil changes, and a complete body shop for exterior damage, paint and fiberglass collision repair, including stress cracks and fractures. It accepts all insurance companies for collision work. It does not do any chassis or engine work, so ask about that before you load up.

No trip fee, hourly rate or diagnostic fee is published, so ask when you call what a repair will run and how the shop prices a job.

The shop opened in 2018. Owner Kris Suvada is Blue Ox Certified and RVIA Master Certified, with training through Winnebago, Dometic, Onan/Cummins, Suburban, Atwood, Generac, Fleetwood, Thor Industries and American Coach, plus a paint and collision certification from the Sherwin Williams Chicago Training Center. His son Jarri has trained at the shop since 2019, and Jarri's wife Amber runs the office. Google rates it 5 stars from 25 reviews.

This is a good fit for an RV owner in Northern Michigan who needs roof, body, fiberglass or appliance work done right and can bring the rig in during weekday hours.
